Brief/Aim:

  • Dubbed the ‘Glastonbury’ for chefs, our objective was to educate attendees on – farming, provenance, sustainability,
    trends, taste, seasonality and development.
  • Enlist the support of chef heroes from the North East
  • To introduce new iniatives and bring back old favourites

Solution:

  • A new ‘innovation zone’ saw the headline sponsors showcase the latest culinary innovations with free flowing demonstrations throughout the day
  • Feather and Fur – Delegates experienced hanging, skinning and butchery of all kinds in the game area
  • Clay Pigeon Shooting – a new concept where everyone got the chance to shoot a few clays
  • Farmers Market – delegates met a wide range of artisan food, drink and innovative equipment suppliers
  • Breakfast, lunch and the evening BBQ were all unique tasting experiences – using produce from our sponsors and regional producers
  • Demonstration stage and kitchen
