August 2010 - NACC coming soon

NACC is almost upon us and the team are busy working away to ensure that the event runs smoothly and is a huge success.

There are so many exciting things planned for this years event and we have theming over flowing in the office, with Welsh hats with bells on, Scottish bonnets and kiss me quick hats the 'Best of British' party is set to go with a bang!

We're looking forward to seeing everyone there.

 


August 2010 - Team Building at Lingfield Races

We just had our 1st team building event at the brand new Marriott at Lingfield Races to celebrate a great year and our upcoming 5th birthday! 

We started with a meeting and lunch in one of the fantastic meeting rooms overlooking the racecouse, and then we enjoyed a day at the races!

Not much money was gambled or won, but fun was certainly had by all!

Dinner in the evening was at the Chefs Table where we were thoroughly spoiled, the food rolled out of the kitchen and we got to see it being prepared from the comfort of our own beautifully laid table. Each course was personally overseen by the head chef and he took the time to talk us through the delights of each dish.

After a restful nights sleep, the event finished the following morning with a choice of relaxing spa treatments! Take a look at what the team got up to by clicking here.

NACC exhibitor stands have all been sold for our conference and exhibition on 15 - 17 September - a real mix of food service companies and product manufacturers and distributors with their own expertise in the care catering sector. Click here to find out more.

 


August 2010 - And the Nominations are....

The nominations are in for the NACC Awards. They will be presented at the NACC 2010 conference gala dinner - all shortlisted nominees have been advised and they will be presented with individual certificates and awards at our black tie gala dinner on 16th September. They are delighted to be recognized by this national care catering association.

July 2010 - NASHiCS Feedback 2010

McCullough Moore are please to introduce thier new website, which we hope showcases our different skills and abilities.

March 2010 - PACEinteractive Conference & Exhibition 2010

Again, PACEinteractive Conference & Exhibition took place at Whittlebury Hall in Northamptonshire and again met its promise of engaging, inspiring and informing delegates in the catering education field!
 
This year's conference focused on 'Getting Interactive' within the world of foodservice education, and some of the real highlights for those who attended were; Ainsley Cheetham who spoke about funding in hospitality training, Jan Matthews who spoke about getting involved with the Olympic Games 2012 and Brad Kleinman joined the conference from the USA by webcam to explain the advantages of online communication initiatives available to students!

February 2010 - Energy Now Expo 2010

Energy Now Expo launch event was a huge success, with 1527 visitors attending over the two days!
 
Next year's event will take place on 16th and 17th February 2011 at The Malvern Showground once again - our floorplan is filling up already so book your stand quick to avoid disappointment!

January 2010 - UBC Euro 'One' Conference - Jan 2010

We've just come back from The Grand in Brighton after a 2 day event including 9 parallel workshops, team building and an awards dinner.
 
The event was a huge success and brought all departments of UBC together to meet and interact. Oh and did we mention silly hats and egg and spoon races? No?
