McCullough Moore are delighted to announce that from January 2009 they will be using the Cvent event management software to manage all their events.

November 2008 - Dorset’s Appetite for Ageing’ Conference is a sell out
Dorset’s inaugural nutritional care for older people conference took place on 17th November at the Dorford Centre, Dorchester.
127 delegates and 18 exhibitors came together to hear high profile speakers including The Baroness Greengross OBE, Dr Louis Levy, Food Standards Agency and Ginny Storey from the Commission for Social Care Inspection.”
Andrew Archibald, Head of Older People Services, Dorset County Council said “Dorset has been in the forefront of national developments in nutritional care for older people and this conference is for all managers and catering staff involved in nutritional care including care homes, domiciliary care, hospital or community settings. Malnutrition effects up to one in three older people living in the community, care homes or hospitals and costs the nation £7.3 billion per annum. Dorset raised these issues with central government and has played an integral part in the ‘Improving Nutritional Care Action Plan’ produced by the Department of Health and Nutrition Summit stakeholders. This Dorset conference will pass on the information that we have learnt so far.”
September 2008 - Success for Foodies on Tour with their trip to Disney, Florida
Delegates from UK based companies including Schöller Ice Cream, Green King Pub Company, Heinz Foodservice, The Spirit Group, Alton Towers, Burger King, Thorpe Park, Ed’s Easy Diner, Merlin Entertainment Group and Restaurant Magazine all attended the five day study tour to Disney.
The tour included an interactive workshop ‘Service; Disney Style’ at the Living Seas Salon in Epcot, a presentation on menu planning and key food and beverage trends by one of Disney’s senior Culinary Directors, a field experience to Disney’s food and beverage warehouse and presentation by their purchasing and distribution department, Back of house tours of a theme park catering facility, various park restaurants, the famous Disney greenhouses and a Tour of Epcot’s main catering kitchen.
This unique learning experience was combined with the opportunity to see and sample the latest food and drink products the USA has to offer at the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Show at the Orange County Convention Centre.

Envision Pharma have appointed McCullough Moore as their preferred logistics supplier for a range of their pharmaceutical management events including international advisory boards and European congress symposia.
June 2008 - McCullough Moore manage judging for the International Beer Challenge 2008
William Reed, owners of the prestigious International Beer Challenge have contracted McCullough Moore to run the beer judging on-site at the historical Brewers Hall, London on 27th July 2008. This involves blind tasting more than 300 beers, lagers and stouts from all over the world. A massive task, with 30 prestigious judges – this is event needs to be run with military precision.
April 2008 - McCullough Moore win Wales The True Taste Food & Drink Awards 2008 Judging Contract
This is the first time that McCullough Moore have tendered for this prestigious competition. This awards programme is the ‘Oscars’ of the Welsh food and drink industry and is talked about at industry events on a national platform. For many companies in Wales participating in the True Taste Awards, and winning awards, has delivered real business benefits in increased profile and in some cases increased sales.
March 2008 - McCullough Moore produce the National Care Forum’s (NCF) first perfect bound annual review/yearbook
The 2008 edition of the NCF Annual Review was designed to provide a round up of the year's activities and initiatives, to list members, include features on key topics and give members a reference book with key contact details that they could use to source information throughout the year.
The 2008 edition was distributed to delegates at the 2008 annual conference and to 1500 key contacts from within the industry.

January 2008 - McCullough Moore win contract for Dorset’s Inaugural Nutrition Conference
McCullough Moore are contracted to run Dorset’s inaugural ‘Appetite for Ageing’ conference, working alongside Sue Hawkins, Care Catering Services Manager, the Directorate for Adult and Community Services Dorset County.
