McCullough Moore are well known in the foodservice sector as an event management specialist. Our staff have worked in the food retail and foodservice sectors for many years, and have a wealth of knowledge about how the market works, how it is structured, the buying procedures and the key stakeholders within it.
We can turn our hand to any type of event, from planning and launching a new competition to growing an existing conference and exhibition. We have the skills, knowledge and experience of the foodservice sector to make it a success for you.
We work very closely with key associations and organisations and manage the membership for the Professional Association for Catering Education and the National Association for Care Catering on a day to day basis - which has a collective membership of 2000 chefs. We also work closely with the Craft Guild of Chefs and work in partnership with them on several annual events such as The Skillery and the NZ-UK Culinary Challenge.
The projects we manage mean that we constantly work with suppliers of food, drink and equipment products - selling advertising space, exhibition stands, and award sponsorship to them. We also work with the operators, local authorities, private businesses such as restaurant and hotel groups, contract caterers. As a consequence we have built an extensive database of both suppliers and operators throughout the UK in this sector.
We also launched our own brand 'Foodies on Tour' last year, whereby we organise study tours to culinary places of interest throughout the world. Our first trip was a five day study tour to Disney, Florida that took place in September 2008 for chefs, operations managers and food development executives.

“Just a note to say a big thank you for all of the work you did to make the conference such a success. I have had a tremendous amount of feedback from delegates - all of which has been extremely complementary. Thanks once again, none of the event would have been possible without your hard work and attention to detail”

“As a judge, this was the best experience I have had, and I have judged many awards. The organisation was brilliant. Nothing was forgotten and everything went like clockwork. I found the personal contact with the organisers very good too. Good social skills to make sure all the judges were integrated. As for the food products, as judges we saw and tasted them at their best. This is vitally important for all the producers who have taken the time and trouble to submit their entries. Well done to the entire team!”
